In an interview with Vanity Fair, released today (September 9), American singer, actress and entrepreneur, Selena Gomez, revealed that she is unable to carry her own children.
The 32-year-old shared that due to a lot of medical issues, having a child would put her and her baby’s life in jeopardy.
Though the “Calm Down” singer did not share details on the medical complications that would prevent her from carrying a baby, she is not ruling out motherhood.
Gomez stated that she is thankful for outlets like surrogacy and adoption as she is “dying” to be a mom. She further explained that though her motherhood journey will look different, at the end of the day she will not care because her baby will be hers.
The pop star also shared that her boyfriend, fellow singer, Benny Blanco, is the ‘complete light’ in her life and that she hopes to have a family with him by the age of 35.
