Legendary singer Lionel Richie is back home and reportedly “doing great” after a recent health scare.
The “Hello” singer checked himself into a hospital after feeling dehydrated following a stop on his Sing a Song All Night Long tour in St. Louis on August 29.
What began as a precautionary visit turned into a three-day hospital stay, including time in the ICU, where doctors performed cardiac testing.
This isn’t Richie’s first health scare this summer. In June, the “All Night Long” star reportedly became dizzy while performing onstage and was forced to leave the show early.
The Grammy winner bounced back and returned to the road shortly after.
During his latest St. Louis performance, however, Richie pushed through and completed his entire set. For the final song, “All Night Long,” he asked his team to bring him a chair and finished the performance while seated.
Now, fans are breathing a sigh of relief as the 77-year-old icon is back home and recovering.
