Tupac’s case finally has a verdict. Now, all eyes are on Biggie's case!
Nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur was killed in a Las Vegas drive-by shooting, Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been found guilty in connection with the rapper’s murder.
The case became a decades-long mystery, but Davis’ own words ultimately became a key part of the prosecution’s case. Over the years, he discussed his involvement in interviews, documentaries, podcasts, his memoir and a police interview.
The verdict gives Tupac’s family some long-awaited closure, while also shining a brighter spotlight on another legendary unsolved case: the murder of The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace.
Tupac and Biggie were once friends before becoming major figures in the East Coast-West Coast hip-hop rivalry. Tupac was killed in September 1996; Biggie was shot and killed in Los Angeles about six months later. No one has ever been charged in Biggie’s murder.
Interestingly, Davis was at the same party as Biggie on the night he was killed and was later questioned by police. Hmmm... That's suspicious.
The LAPD says Wallace’s case remains open and unsolved so now fans worldwide will just have to wait and see what's next.
