When Pharrell Williams calls, you probably answer especially when he calling you to bring back the kind of R&B he feels the genre is missing!
The legendary producer recently reached out to T-Pain with this said challenge and honestly we are here for it!
During a recent livestream, Pharrell told T-Pain there’s “no one in your way” when it comes to creating that sound, praising him as a bridge between classic R&B and a younger generation.
T-Pain was all in, promising to put his "right brain on it” and get back to him.
The conversation comes as T-Pain recently revisited Jay-Z’s famous Auto-Tune jab on “D.O.A.”
While he admitted the criticism “sucked,” T-Pain said he remains a huge Jay-Z fan and viewed the track as the rapper simply reminding everyone that he was still in his own lane.
