Dancehall artistes Rygin King and Koffee have been named in UK-based BBC 1-Xtra’s list of ‘Hot for 2019’ artistes.
Rygin, who many have crowned the breakout artiste of 2018, has had a successful year with a slew of hit songs such as ‘Tuff’, ‘3ZN’, ‘Things Go Change’ dominating the streets and airwaves.
The ‘Powerful’ deejay is fresh from touring and has vowed to hit the ground running for 2019.
Meanwhile, rising reggae sensation Koffee has undoubtedly the biggest song in Jamaica at the moment with her ‘Toast’ track receiving heavy rotations and lines from her single being used in social media captions across the various platforms.
Koffee broke onto the scene in early 2018 with her Ragga Muffin single produced by Frankie Music. Since then she has signed to Columbia Records UK and is set to grace the stage at the upcoming Rebel Salute event.
