Drake is making History again...this time in Ottawa.
The Canadian superstar has opened his second History live music venue in partnership with Live Nation, with the 2,000-capacity space officially opening earlier today (August 20).
“Today we open the second History,” Drake wrote on Instagram, describing the venue as a place where artists and fans can create memorable experiences. And he’s not just lending his name to the project. Drake and his team helped shape the venue’s look, right down to the furniture in its premium lounge.
The venue plans to host 60 shows before year-end, with The Wallflowers getting opening-night honours. Modest Mouse, UB40 and The Pretty Reckless are also on the lineup.
Drake opened the first History in Toronto in 2021. Ottawa, you’ve got the mic.
