The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is reportedly assisting investigations into the death of actress Hayden Panettiere, who died unexpectedly at age 36.
Police have launched a separate investigation alongside the coroner’s inquiry after Panettiere was found unresponsive at her South Carolina home on August 16.
Reports say her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, was at the residence at the time, while Narcan was reportedly found inside the home and an “overdose” was mentioned in dispatch audio.
Authorities have not publicly confirmed Panettiere’s cause or manner of death, and the investigations remain ongoing.
