Genahsyde deejay Masicka is thanking fans and fellow artistes for the support following a successful debut at the Barclays center on Saturday night.
On Instagram he wrote "Respect. The love is real, big up the fans. Team work makes the dream work."
On Saturday night, The Def Jam recording artist opened his set with his mega-hit “Whites,” sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Swizz Beatz, Tarrus Riley, I-Octane, Vanessa Bling, and Elephant Man were among the surprise guests who joined Masicka on stage.
Masicka’s Barclays Center performance was organized by Reggae Fest promoter CJ Milan, who has helped open the doors to arena shows for Dancehall stars including Vybz Kartel, Alkaline, and Bounty Killer.
The performance came following the release of his third studio LP Forever Reign which dropped on Friday. Eighteen out of twenty songs on the project are currently occupying positions on the local Apple iTunes streaming charts
