Dancehall artiste Teejay cancelled his performance at the Car & Bike After Party in Guyana after agreed payment obligations were not fulfilled.
His team said the decision was not meant as disrespect to his Guyanese fans or event attendees.
Teejay apologized to fans who bought tickets, travelled or made plans to see him perform.
The Uptop boss thanked his supporters and said he looks forward to returning to Guyana for a future performance.
