Dancehall artiste Armanii has revealed that long before stepping into the music industry, his artistic journey began on stage through church plays and musicals.
Speaking with BBC Radio 1Xtra host Seani B, the deejay whose real name is Armani Moodie shared that his passion for acting was born in church right here in Jamaica, where he routinely took on major biblical roles including young Moses, young Jesus, and Nehemiah.
While theatre provided his early creative outlet, Armanii eventually shifted his focus to music full-time a transition that paved the way for his successful dancehall career today.
