INDECOM Probes Death of Man in Police Custody at Duhaney Park Station

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is probing the death of Horace Williams, who became ill while in police custody at the Duhaney Park Police Station in St Andrew.

Mr. Williams, of East Albion, St Thomas, was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital on July 21, where he was pronounced dead.

He had been arrested on July 2 in connection with a murder investigation and was awaiting further court proceedings.

A post-mortem examination is expected as INDECOM continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
