Former Married to Medicine: Los Angeles star Lia Jones has accused her ex-husband, Dr. Colin Dias, of trying to recruit a neighbor to kill her, allegations he has denied.
Jones filed for a domestic violence restraining order, but a judge declined to grant immediate protection, scheduling a hearing for August 5.
Dias' attorney rejected the claims, noting that he currently has sole legal and physical custody of the couple's two children.
The former couple divorced in 2023 after making mutual abuse allegations and remain locked in ongoing legal disputes over custody and property.
