Dancehall and reggae artiste Stacious Urges Healthcare Workers to Show More Compassion to Patients

Share

Dancehall and reggae artiste Stacious is calling on local healthcare workers to show greater compassion to patients, arguing that empathy is the very foundation of their profession.

In a video shared to her Instagram page, the "Come Into My Room" singer made the appeal following a recent visit to the Kingston Public Hospital.

Her call follows recent calling from Health minister Dr Christopher Tufron urging healthcare workers to show more empathy, saying quality care is not only about medical treatment but also how patients are treated during difficult times.
