The nominations are out for the 2026 Emmy Awards, and it's HBO's medical drama The Pitt leading the pack with an impressive 25 nominations in its first eligible season, making it the frontrunner in the drama categories.
On the comedy side, HBO's Hacks made history with 24 nominations for its fifth and final season, the most ever earned by a comedy series in a single year.
Meanwhile, Apple TV+ celebrated its biggest Emmy morning yet with a record 87 nominations, including shows Widow's Bay, Pluribus and Margo's Got Money Troubles, while HBO Max remained the overall leader with 122 nods, including Game of Thrones spin-off show A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
The 78th Emmy Awards will take place on September 14 in Los Angeles, where television's biggest stars will compete for the year's top honours.
