Nickelodeon has announced July 14 as the first official SpongeBob Day, celebrating the global impact of the iconic animated franchise.
The annual event will feature exclusive content across television, streaming, gaming, social media and theme parks to mark SpongeBob's birthday.
As part of the celebration, Patrick Star will release his first-ever album, Patrick Star Superstar, with the lead single arriving on July 9.
Fans can also look forward to special livestreams, new YouTube content and SpongeBob-themed experiences worldwide.
