The Jamaica Constabulary Force says it has recorded a historic seizure of more than 5,100 kilograms of cocaine, valued at approximately $3 billion, during the first half of 2026.
The haul is the largest in the past decade and exceeds the combined total seized between 2016 and 2021.
Police say the seizures were made through targeted operations by the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division aimed at disrupting transnational crime networks.
Investigators believe the operation has dealt a major financial blow to criminal organisations.
