RnB singer Muni Long is finally revealing the reason for her early exit from Brandy and Monica's The Boy is Mine Tour.
The 37-year-old lupus survivor was speaking on the Good Morning America show when she opened up about undergoing a double lung transplant after falling ill and developing a serious case of pneumonia.
She spoke with co-anchor Robin Roberts, saying: “I should have never taken that tour. But there was so much going on in my life where I had to do it".
The "Made For Me" singer recalled leaving the show and going home for Thanksgiving before waking up in the hospital. Long went on to say, "I knew for a really long time that something was wrong. With this industry, you’re always in people’s faces... and I’m just huffing and puffing like I just ran a marathon.”
Muni's latest release, "The Riches", is the last song she recorded in good health and shared that she'll be able to safely sing again in 6months to a year. Only she added that her voice will be totally different.
