Pop star Ariana Grande turned her third consecutive night at the Kia Forum into a giant Easter egg for fans by revealing to her fans the full track list for her upcoming album Petal on the venue's massive screen.
The 12-track album, co-executive produced by Grande and longtime collaborator ILYA, drops on July 31 via Republic Records and BabyDoll Music. And in true Ariana fashion, every title arrives in her beloved all-lowercase style:
- "kiss me"
- "hate that i made you love me"
- "petal"
- "stay"
- "oh well"
- "big feelings"
- "freak"
- "(warning signs)"
- "like i do"
- "never get over me"
- "bad thing (bunny hop)"
- "nowhere, nobody."
After teasing fans with individual song titles during recent Eternal Sunshine Tour stops, Grande finally revealed the complete lineup and naturally, the internet immediately got straight to work decoding every word.
The "Thank U, Next" singer took to her Instagram to describe Petal as an album about growth, letting go of what no longer serves you, and finding beauty in challenging moments. But don't mistake the floral title for something overly delicate. Grande has also teased that the project is "a little feral," promising a freer, bolder energy than fans have heard from her before.
From "big feelings" to "bad thing (bunny hop)," one thing is already clear: Ari may be keeping the capital letters away, but she's bringing plenty of attitude and personality!
