England head coach Thomas Tuchel has suggested that Bukayo Saka is unlikely to start Tuesday’s World Cup match against Ghana.
The Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka, is managing an Achilles tendinitis issue and came off the bench in England’s 4-2 win over Croatia, where he provided an assist.
Tuchel said Saka is being carefully managed and is expected to be fully ready only by England’s final group game against Panama.
Despite this, Saka has insisted he is willing to “gamble” on his fitness to help England during the tournament.
