Drake Faces $4.6M Lawsuit Over Alleged OVO Debt as Brand’s Financial Future Comes Into Question

Share

Canadian Rapstar Drake is facing a $4.6 million lawsuit filed by investment firm A.R.I. Growth Capital over alleged unpaid debts tied to his OVO lifestyle brand.

The firm claims OVO defaulted on financing agreements made in early 2025, which were meant to support the brand’s global expansion through loans and convertible notes.

A.R.I. says it attempted to resolve the matter through a workout process and forbearance agreement, but payments reportedly stopped after a partial settlement in May.

The dispute comes as OVO is also said to be exploring major business restructuring talks, raising questions about the brand’s financial future.
