Actor Jim Carrey is reportedly in talks to reprise his role as the Grinch in a sequel to the 2000 holiday hit How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Director Ron Howard, who helmed the original film, is attached to direct the project, which is currently in development.
Writers Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel have been tapped to pen the screenplay.
While plot details remain undisclosed, the original film was a box-office success and earned an Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
