The US and Iran have agreed on a 14-point Memorandum of Understanding aimed at extending the ceasefire, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and negotiating a permanent peace deal.
The agreement includes ending military operations, restoring maritime traffic, easing sanctions, releasing frozen Iranian funds, and supporting economic reconstruction.
Iran has pledged not to pursue nuclear weapons, while both sides will work under international monitoring to manage its enriched uranium stockpile.
A final agreement is expected to be negotiated within 60 days and later endorsed by a binding UN Security Council resolution.
