The nominations are in for the Caribbean Music Awards 2026, and leading the pack is Trinidadian hitmaker Lady Lava with an impressive nine nominations.
Close behind are Ayetian, Machel Montano and V'ghn, who each picked up seven nods.
Meanwhile, last year's big winner Shenseea returns with six nominations, thanks in part to the global success of Shake It to the Max alongside Moliy, Skillibeng and others. The track is this year's most-nominated song, earning recognition in three categories.
Dancehall heavyweights Masicka, Popcaan, Valiant and Vybz Kartel also secured multiple nominations.
This year's awards are expanding too, with new categories spotlighting genres including zess, Dennery, konpa and chutney soca.
The winners will be announced soon as the region's biggest stars compete for top honours at the CMA's July ceremony.
