Culture and Entertainment Minister, Olivia Grange says a celebration of life for the late singer Ernie Smith will be held on Friday June 5.
The event is set to take place at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre beginning at 6pm.
Earnie Smith past away in April while in the United States, after ailing for some time. The Minister says the celebration of Ernie will "highlight & honour his contribution to Jamaican music".
Earnie Smith is known for classics including Life Is Just For Living, Duppy Gunman, Pitta Patta and I For Jesus.
