Jose Mourinho has signed a three-year deal to become Real Madrid’s new head coach, according to reports.

He will be officially unveiled after the club’s presidential election on June 7, and the contract depends on Florentino Perez remaining in office.

Mourinho is leaving Benfica, where he took charge in September and guided the team to third place in the Primeira Liga.

The Portuguese manager previously coached Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
