On Friday (August 30), American hypeman and rapper Fatman Scoop passed away after collapsing during a performance at Hamden Town Park.
News of his death broke on Saturday morning, and since then, several international stars have sent love and support to Scoop’s friends and family.
Hip-hop veteran Missy Elliott took to social media to mourn the loss, stating that Scoop’s "impact is huge and will never be forgotten." Jim Jones shared a heartfelt tribute to the New York artist, accompanied by a video of the two of them.
Rapper Ludacris also posted on Instagram, remembering Scoop's deep passion for hip-hop and urging fans never to forget his contributions.
Fatman Scoop was known for his collaborations with Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Jim Jones, and many others, rising to fame in the '90s for his crowd-pumping energy.
