Former NBA star Dwight Howard’s divorce drama just added another plot twist and well... this one comes with legal paperwork.
A judge has granted Howard a temporary protective order against his estranged wife, Amy Luciani (legal name Amber Howard), after he claimed she showed up at his home on April 5 and made threats toward him and someone in his car.
The order requires Luciani to stay 100 yards away from Howard, his kids, his home, and their school. She’s also not allowed to contact them and has temporarily lost access to the house and a vehicle.
This latest development follows a wave of online accusations from Luciani, who previously posted videos alleging Howard had a drug problem and that Child Protective Services had gotten involved. Howard denied those claims and says they damaged his reputation and business deals.
Meanwhile, both sides have been out here trading allegations- from custody concerns to a scrapped reality TV deal that reportedly could’ve been worth serious money.
The couple married in January 2025, but the relationship unraveled quickly, with multiple divorce filings before the current case in March 2026.
At this point, it’s less “happily ever after” and more “to be continued.”
