Cardi B revealed on Instagram Live that her credit card was stolen and used to make about $60,000 in fraudulent purchases, including $40,000 at Saks and $20,000 at an Apple Store.
At first, she assumed the charges were made by someone on her team, but quickly realized something was wrong when she hadn’t been shopping while on tour.
After noticing the suspicious activity, her team immediately shut the card down while her accountant also flagged the transactions.
Cardi claims there is clear surveillance footage of the suspects and warned they will be caught and sent to jail, even describing one of them in detail.
Despite the situation, she continued her tour and surprised fans in Philadelphia with a performance alongside Meek Mill.
