Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor at the 2026 Academy Awards for his dual role in Sinners.
Jordan thanked director Ryan Coogler and paid tribute to past winners like Denzel Washington and Halle Berry during his speech.
He beat nominees including Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke and Wagner Moura in a close race.
Jordan is now the sixth Black actor to win the lead-actor Oscar and is set to direct and star in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair.
