A brilliant free kick from Jabarie Howell secured a 1-0 victory for Jamaica’s U20 Reggae Boyz over Puerto Rico, sealing top spot in Group B of the Concacaf Men’s U20 Qualifiers.
Howell struck in the 32nd minute as Jamaica completed a perfect group stage, winning all five matches without conceding and scoring 28 goals.
Puerto Rico pressed late but couldn’t break through, with goalkeeper Joshua Grant preserving the clean sheet.
Jamaica now advance to the Concacaf Men’s U20 Championship, where they will chase qualification for the 2027 FIFA U20 World Cup and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
