Atelier Dermoth Williams Limited has announced a historic restructure of the Miss Universe Jamaica 2026 pageant, replacing the regional preliminaries with a parish-level model.
The new system ensures nationwide representation, with 13 parish titleholders advancing automatically to the National Finals on August 23, 2026, at AC Hotel Kingston.
Candidates who don’t win their parish title can still compete for a “Golden Ticket” at the MUJ 2026 Eliminations on July 5.
CEO Karl Williams said the changes aim to boost competitiveness, stimulate local economies, and prepare delegates for global success.
