Police have intensified joint operations with a mining company’s security team targeting stolen low-sulphur diesel near Porus, Manchester.
During a 4:30 a.m. raid, officers seized 30 containers of stolen fuel, 13 empty containers and three vehicles after suspects fled.
The diesel was reportedly siphoned from equipment at a nearby mining site.
DSP Valdin Amos said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to disrupt fuel theft and protect national assets.
