The production duo behind the hit song "Shake It To The Max" are back with a new banger! Silent Addy and Disco Neil a unveiled their official follow-up! its titled "Ballerina and it features Afrobeats Star Rema and Jamaican hitmaker Skillibeng.
It comes after Shake It To The Max spent a whopping 27 weeks atop U.S. Afrobeats Songs and arguable the soundtrack for Summer 2025.
Like any great dancehall track, “Ballerina” was born in Jamrock. Addy and Neil linked Skillibeng while they were in Jamaica near the end of 2025, resulting in a studio session where the duo played the Saint Thomas-hailing artist several beats.
The duo TOLD Billboard that , Skillibeng “gravitated towards Ballerina immediately,”, and the three artists wrote the song on the spot, ending up with a fully solo Skilli track.
Early on, Addy and Neil felt “Ballerina” would benefit from a feature, which makes sense considering “Shake It” reached its astounding cross-cultural heights by blending Jamaican dancehall from Skillibeng and Shenseea, with Afropop elements courtesy of MOLIY.
With Rema immediately coming to mind as their top choice, Addy connected with the star through a mutual contact at Platinum Grammar, an independent music publishing company.
Also ....Shake It To The Max (Fly) has earned Gold certification in the United States.
This, after surpassing 500,000 units in combined sales and streaming equivalents.
The remix dominated digital platforms throughout 2025, amassing more than 400 million streams on Spotify and over 243 million views on YouTube.
