Reggae singer Keznamdi has won the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for his project, BLXXD & FYAH.
Pulling ahead of fellow nominees Lila Ike with Treasure Self Love, Vybz Kartel's Heart & Soul, Mortimer's From Within and No Place Like Home by Jesse Royal, BLXXD & FYAH marks the first Grammy win of Keznamdi's from his first Grammy nomination.
The win was marked by the sister of the artiste, chef and wellness expert Kamila McDonald who posted videos of their family's reaction from home to her Instagram.
Keznamdi's acceptance speech, celebrating the reach and cultural significance of Reggae Music, continues to be applauded by his fans and industry peers.
In a post-nomination interview with the independent reggae artiste who stopped by the Zee, Keznamdi reflected on the how much the nomination meant to him and what it would mean to be awarded.
