Minister of Culture, Gender Entertainment and Sports, Olivia Babsy Grange remembers Stephen Cat Coore O.D., who passed away last week.
Cat Coore was 69 years old.
The Minister, who knows the legendary guitarist of the renowned Third World band, says their relationship birthed the 1982- hit single "Try Jah Love"produced by Stevie Wonder.
Cat Coore also helped formed Inner Circle reggae band before he co-founded Third World reggae band.
Following news of his death, Minister Grange noted that his legacy will live on and continue to inspire current and future generations of musicians.
Funeral details have not yet been shared.
