The official launch of Reggae Month 2026 has taken place with support from partners, Wray & Nephew and Ministry of Culture's agency the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission -JCDC.
The launch signals the start of a month-long national celebration in February, of Jamaica’s most influential cultural export, powered by a strengthened, multi-year partnership committed to preserving and advancing the Reggae legacy.
Reggae Month is being celebrated under the theme: "Rythms Of Resilience". Culture and Entertainment Minister, Olivia grange tells us more.
Meantime, Executive Director of the Tourism Enhancement Fund, Dr. Carey Wallace believes in the potential of reggae, in becoming the cornerstone of our tourism income.

More than 60 events have been registered with the Reggae Month Secretariat this year.
Reggae Month will officially commence on Sunday, February 1, with a church service at the Fellowship Tabernacle at 2 Fairfield Avenue in Kingston.
