Share

Dancehall legend Sean Paul adds to his list of Platinum records with his 2003 hit Like Glue, making his previous count of 9, 10.

Sean Paul has cemented his unmoving status as the Jamaican artiste holding the most platinum records with the recent certification of Like Glue, issued by the British Phonographic Industry.

Like Glue had to achieve over 600,000 units in combined sales and streaming across the UK, a feat that was easy for the track, which peaked at No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached other highs across charts worldwide.

The song was recorded on Tony CD Kelly's 2001 Buy Out Riddim. Amongst other hits such as Notch's Nuthin Nuh Go So, TOK's Money to Burn, and Miss LAP by Beenie Man, Like Glue emerged as the undisputed most popular song.

This, the latest in Sean Paul's achievements, further proves his unwavering relevance and impact with the Jamaican music scene.
