Megan Thee Stallion to Host VMAS

Share

Megan Thee Stallion has been announced as the host of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards; however, the fans aren’t liking this one bit!

Fans believe that Nicki Minaj, Meg’s rival, would have been a better “fit” or fellow rapper Cardi B!

"No thanks! I’m not gonna watch this," one fan said. Another commented, "Girl bye lmaooooo". Meanwhile, this fan said, "I can see now why nicki isn't nominated for any award".

In the sea of negative comments, this person wrote, "It's wild how many people are genuinely livid that Megan Thee Stallion has a management company that's good. Y'all want her making bad business decisions so bad".

The VMAs, which will take place on September 11, will be the first awards show to be hosted by the rapper.

Previously, the “Hot Girl Summer” singer hosted Saturday Night Live and co-hosted The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The singer has also been nominated for five awards this year. This follows her two previous wins: her 2019 anthem “Hot Girl Summer” and her 2020 hit "Savage.”
