TikTok has released its numbers for 2025, and the results are a surprising mix of nostalgia and new stars.
The “Clock App” has crowned the late Connie Francis’ 1962 classic “Pretty Little Baby” as its Top Global Song of 2025.
The track dominated the platform this year, appearing in more than 28 million posts and generating over 68 billion views.
The catchy single really took off in May, when it topped the TikTok Music Charts with more than 1.3 million creations.
Coming in second on the year-end list is Jess Glynne’s 2013 hit “Hold My Hand,” boosted by the viral “Nothing Beats a Jet2 Holiday” audio, which appeared in more than 3.6 million videos.
Other standout entries include Black Eyed Peas’ “Rock That Body,” J Balvin’s “Azul,” and Fantomel & Kate Linn’s “Dame Un Grrr.”
TikTok also highlighted newer stars, naming Katseye its Global Artist of the Year, based on the combined views of videos using their music and views on the group’s own posts.
