Dancehall Ariste Keneil Merital is reeling from the effects of hurricane Melissa, which has created a major setback for him and his community of Catherine Hall, St. James.
Hurricane Melissa struck on October 28, and left a trail of destruction across several parishes in the west including St. James, St. Elizabeth, Westmoreland and Trelawny.
Keneil Merital tells the Zee that the experience was devastating.
Despite the efforts being undertaken to restore normalcy in Catherine Hall, he believes more can be done at a quicker paste. He also shared how Melissa will shape his music career going forward.
