Culture & Entertainment Minister Olivia Grange, has paid tribute to Reggae Icon Jimmy Cliff.
Jimmy Cliff's death was announced on Monday by his wife Latifa, via his social media pages. He was 81.
During her presentation in Parliament Tuesday, Minister Grange noted that his death is a major loss to the world.
The Minister noted that Jimmy will be accorded an official funeral with details to be shared at a later date.
She also shared intimate details about the superstar, adding that the world have lost one of the greatest proponents of Jamaican music and one of the nation’s greatest and most beloved sons.
