Singer and actor, Ariana Grande has bid farewell to her role as Glinda in Wicked and Wicked: For Good, thanking fans for their support during the films’ promotional tours.
Grande, who first saw Wicked on Broadway at age 10, described the role as a dream more than 20 years in the making and reflected on the lessons of love, growth, and kindness the story imparts.
Despite testing positive for COVID-19 and facing a red carpet incident in Singapore, Grande praised the joy the films have brought to fans.
Wicked: For Good debuted this weekend with $150 million at the box office, marking the biggest opening for a Broadway adaptation.
