Dancehall star Spice is bringing global attention to Jamaica’s recovery following Hurricane Melissa.
Recently, the "Guh Down Deh" singer was featured on CNN.
Yesterday, Spice took to Instagram to share a clip of the interview.
In her post, she thanked CNN and their host Elex Michaelson for giveing her a platform to highlight how our country has been affected by the storm and gave information on how viewers can assist.
During the almost three-minute video, the veteran artiste spoke about the storm’s devastation and the urgent rebuilding work now underway.
Spice has been putting in the work to assist as much affected persons as she can with her Grace Hamilton Foundation.
In her caption, she reiterated her mission to help restore damaged communities, noting that her team is “building back Jamaica one house at a time.”
Along with the recognition, Spice's Grammy-nominated debut 2021 album "10" re-entered the Billboard Reggae Charts at number 8 this week.
