The treasure Beach Food, Rum & Reggae Festival was originally scheduled to be held at treasure Beach in St. Elizabeth, on Sunday November 9. However, the storm caused widesprea devastation across the parish, leaving many persons homeless and without electricity and water.
Since the storm struck on October 28, organisers of the festival have been collaborating closely with the BREDS Treasure Beach Foundation, local authorities, and community groups to assess needs and coordinate assistance for affected residents.
