Entertainer Christopher Martin has expressed sadness following a fatal shooting incident that took place at a wake for his Grandmother in Point Hill, St Catherine.
The entertainer took to social media where he condemned the violent act.
He also said it was devastating for him to see violence at his grandmother’s wake, tarnishing the memory of a woman who instilled in him the true meaning of love and community.
Member of Parliament for West Central St. Catherine Dr. Christopher Tufton also condemned the shooting incident.
Reports are that at about 12:45 A.M., persons were at a wake for Reggae artiste Christopher Martin’s grandmother, when gunmen opened fire hitting 8 individuals.
The wounded people were taken to hospital where 1 man succumbed.
The identity of the deceased has not been released.
