American Actor and Singer Tyrese Gibson headed to Jamaica today, with hurricane relief supplies for communities affected by category 5 Melissa.
The storm which made landfall on October 28, left a trail of destruction across sections of the island.
Through the late Paul Walker's Reach Out Worldwide Foundation, the Fast & Furious Actor, says with the help of supporting partners, will be visiting affected parishes with relief supplies.
He stated that "Right now, our brothers and sisters in Jamaica are facing crisis and tragedy." he says "while thoughts, prayers, and positive energy matter, what truly changes lives is when people show up....That’s when love becomes action."
He said "Reach Out WorldWide shows up to areas where needed most, for those affected by natural disasters.
This is the first shipment of relief supplies from the foundation since hurricane Melissa struck.
