Verzuz Announces Return With Epic Cash Money Vs. No Limit Battle

Share

Verzuz is making a major comeback with a New Orleans Hip-Hop showdown: Cash Money Records vs. No Limit Records, happening October 25 at ComplexCon in Las Vegas.

Unlike previous Verzuz battles, this event is being framed as a celebration of two legendary labels rather than a competition.

Cash Money, founded by Birdman and Slim, launched iconic careers including Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and the Hot Boys, while No Limit, led by Master P, featured stars like Mystikal, Silkk the Shocker, and C-Murder.

Both labels dominated Southern rap for decades, sold millions of records, and left an enduring mark on Hip-Hop culture, sparking debates among fans about which empire was greater.

Verzuz, created by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, became a cultural phenomenon during the pandemic with high-profile matchups like The Lox vs. Dipset, Nelly vs. Ludacris, Monica vs. Brandy, Teddy Riley vs. Babyface, and even dancehall clashes like Beenie Man vs. Bounty Killer, blending music history with fan nostalgia.

After a long break, this New Orleans-themed edition marks their official comeback.
