The Police are reporting that they have apprehended the masked man seen in a viral video threatening the Prime Minister, his wife and residents of Clarendon.
Reports are that the individual who has not been identified is in hospital under police guard after injuring himself in a bid to escape capture.
This latest arrest comes after police nabbed another suspect in Sunday’s mass killing at Cherry Tree Lane, in Clarendon.
8 people were fatally shot, including a 7-year-old boy, while 9 others, including a 1-year-old, were wounded.
Police named the suspect, as Leighton White, otherwise called ‘Bonz’ of May Pen, Clarendon.
Reports are that White attended a police station in the parish, reporting on condition of bail, on a previous case of shooting, when he was identified, and held by the police.
White’s arrest, follows the fatal shooting of Steve Smith, otherwise called ‘Thicka’ or ‘Fly Brain’, another suspect in the mass shooting.
Smith was fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police on Wednesday afternoon.
