The "Am I The Drama" rapper took to her X Spaces yesterday (September 22) to update her fans on her latest happenings.
The "Bodal Yellow" rapper, who is currently celebrating the success of her latest album being certified RIAA platinum, told her fans that her divorce is being delayed due to Offset.
According to Cardi, Offset wants her to cover his taxes and give up one of her properties.
Could this be the reason why she stated her "baby daddy's acting like a baby momma"? Maybe.
She stressed that the situation isn't about love, she won't stop living her life. “Y’all wanna know the tea? The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else’s taxes, even though I pay for my own, and give them one of my properties. I’mma fight for that." said the New York rapper.
The "Safe" rapper opened her stream to address the criticisms she has been facing since announcing her fourth child with her new beau, Stefon Diggs, just days before the release of her latest album.
Cardi also addressed a fan who compared her to Nick Cannon, who has 12 children "I don't get in Nick Cannon's business, but let me tell you something, all my kids live in the same house, and they are raised by a person, and that's me."
She also revealed that her relationship with Offset landed her in the hospital, disrupted her career, and pushed her to leave.
Cardi and Offset secretly got married in September 2017; she filed for divorce in July 2024.
