The Police are reporting that 24- year-old Rogea Reid of Old Harbour Road in the parish, who fled the country while on bail for Murder, was arrested at Norman Manley International Airport yesterday.
This, after being deported from the United States of America.
Reports are that at about 11:55 a.m. Reid was among 61 deportees on a chartered flight arriving from Alexandria, Louisiana, United States of America. Upon arrival, Reid was handed over to the law enforcement personnel for further processing.
During the process, he was taken into custody.
He was the only deportee to be detained.
In addition to being charged with Murder, Reid will also face absconding bail and breaching his bail conditions.
Investigation continues.
